Choose what stays.
We don’t work with your employer or send your role case to employers or teammates. We use hosting and account providers to operate the service; that is different from claiming nobody ever processes data.
Free card: we don’t keep your inputs.
The free card runs in your browser without an account. Responsibility inputs are not submitted for analysis or saved to a database. The form is cleared when your card is made. The generated card stays in the current tab until you reset or refresh. Exporting saves a file on your device; you control that copy.
The fictional sample also stays in memory and resets on refresh. Neither experience sends its progress to analytics.
Optional saved responsibility cases: your control.
Signing up stores account details for authentication. Your intake draft stays in page memory until you review and choose to save. Saving keeps one latest case: title, proposed role, optional broad region and expectations, responsibility fields, and update time, linked to your account. Every case read, save, and delete checks your signed-in identity on the server. Workspace owners and teammates cannot access it through the app.
Use “Export saved responsibility case” to download your case, or “Delete saved responsibility case” to remove it from the app and clear the open draft in one click. Deleting a case does not delete your login account or a file you already exported. Provider backups may follow their own retention schedules; deletion is not a promise of immediate erasure from every backup.
Convex encrypts database data at rest using 256-bit AES and encrypts traffic in transit. This is provider-managed encryption, not end-to-end encryption: the service and its infrastructure providers process saved inputs to operate your account. Convex security details.
Who operates the service?
- Vercel — website hosting
- Serves the website and processes ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata. Free-card responsibility inputs stay in your browser.
- Convex — sign-in and optional saved responsibility cases
- Processes account details and the case fields you explicitly choose to save. Convex runs its infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). No free-card input is sent to its database.
- MadeThis — platform operation; Stripe — existing billing infrastructure
- MadeThis operates the publishing platform and existing billing infrastructure uses Stripe. There is no paid offer in this pilot. Responsibility and evidence inputs are not sent to a payment processor as part of making a card or saving a case.
- AI providers — none in this pilot
- The comparison follows visible rules in the app. No LLM API receives your inputs, so no AI training or retention settings are involved. No salary database is connected.
No ad pixels or visitor analytics.
This pilot does not initialize PostHog, session replay, Google Analytics, Meta pixels, or another traffic analytics service. We have not added Plausible or Fathom. A theme toggle may store only your light/dark preference; authentication uses session cookies. Ordinary hosting and service logs still exist.
Describe what you do, not who you do it for. No company names or confidential info needed. We don’t ask for an employer field, résumé upload, or ZIP/postal code, and we don’t promise automatic redaction of free text.
